The Easter Bunny is coming to Indigo Run on Saturday, April 19th at Indigo Hall. Be sure not to miss the fun!

Arrive at 9:00 a.m. to enjoy activities/games for all ages, up to 12.
 
Be prepared to take pictures with the Easter Bunny and be sure every child comes with an Easter basket.
 
The Easter Egg Hunt will begin around 9:55 a.m.
 
A Continental Breakfast will be hosted by Invited.

Event Description:
Get ready to test your musical knowledge and have a blast at our "Name that Tune" event! Whether you are a music aficionado or just love a good challenge, this event is perfect for you. Gather your friends, family, and fellow music lovers for an evening filled with fun, laughter, and great tunes.

Teams compete as tables test their knowledge of song titles and artists with head-to-head challenges at the end of each round. In-game prizes are rewarded to the “exceptional” member participants, and all the members of the first and second place winning tables receive a prize and the envy of their peers.  

Maximum attendance for this event is 96 residents so don’t delay signing up for this event.

How It Works:

Teams: Form teams of 6-8 individuals.  Each team will compete to identify songs based on short clips played by our DJ. 

Attached is the team sheet to set up your team with a maximum of eight individuals.  If you have less than six on your team you will be combined with another team for the event. 
 

1. Rounds: The event will consist of SIX rounds with FIVE songs each featuring a WIDE range of music.  There is something for everyone!
2. Scoring: Points will be awarded for correctly naming the song title and artist.
3. Prizes: Exciting prizes for the top two teams and three in-games prizes.

Food and drinks:

• Delicious small bites and dessert are included in the price and there is a cash bar for drinks.  Drinks are paid for by cash only no credit cards will be taken.  No food and drinks will be allowed to be brought into Indigo Hall.

Registration:
Sign up your team by creating a team name and dropping off the form with payment to the COA office no later than Monday, April 21st to receive your tickets to the event.  If paying by a credit card, there is a 3% fee.

Have you, your loved ones, or your neighbors been preyed upon by local, national, and international criminals?  If yes, this is a must attend seminar.

Lt. Eric Calendine of the Beaufort County Sherriff's department will give an overview of fraud and identity theft issues that we all face. He will cover real world examples locally of how the thieves execute frauds and how much it can impact your life. He will also cover what you can do to minimize your chances for being a victim and the processes for recovering from identity theft.

In this lecture he will discuss the trends in scams used to defraud victims of their money, identity, and financial peace.  These scams are becoming big business for criminals.  It is estimated that last year alone criminals stole over 37 Billion dollars from victims and financial institutions.  The total number of victims is increasing as baby boomers retire and their ability to manage trillions of dollars in personal assets diminishes.

He will also discuss Project Lifesaver a program for loved ones that tend to wander and have been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, Dementia, Autism, and or Traumatic brain injury.

Speaker Bio
Lt. Calendine has been with the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office since 2000.   Originally from Pittsford NY (outside of Rochester, NY). He was recruited and played football for the University of Maryland from 1995 to 1999. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Criminal Justice.  Lt. Calendine is married with two children ages 15 and 17.  

During his law enforcement career, he has been assigned to patrol, investigations, high crimes unit, and supervisor of investigations. He currently holds the rank of Lieutenant over Southern Enforcement (patrol and investigations). During his career he also volunteered for collateral duty on the SWAT and Dive team.  Currently, he is the administrator for Project Lifesaver, a program the Sheriff’s office runs for those loved ones that tend to wander.
