Welcome to Indigo Run Community Owner's Association
Indigo Run is a gated residential community located in the heart of Hilton Head Island. The community rests on 1,400 scenic acres with 46 lagoons and frontage along Broad Creek. There are 974 home sites that boast 922 homes as of December 2023 with a distinctive architectural style, 38 undeveloped lots and 10 homes that are under construction that offer stunning views of lagoons, lakes and golf courses. The attraction and ambiance of Indigo Run is founded upon the natural environment and the quality of life it affords our residents. Indigo Run is framed by mature tree lined roads and home to beautiful wildlife indigenous to the Lowcountry. Outdoor enthusiasts experience breathtaking views as they bike, jog or walk their dogs on our extensive leisure trail system. Our residents value the fact that Indigo Run is a quiet, single-family residential community that lacks commercialization and short-term vacation rentals. The community has 5 security gates conveniently located to provide quick access to both ends of the Island. Indigo Run has 23 miles of road and 11 miles of perimeter fence. The gates, roads and perimeter fence are monitored 24/7 by an armed security force consisting of 10 professionally trained Security Officers.
The intimate size of our community allows residents to make friends easily. Residents get to know their neighbors and pursue common interests through recreational activities, Men and Women’s Clubs, and social events sponsored by the Community Owners Association. If you want to be involved, your options are endless. If you want to slow down your life style, you will find quiet comfort within our Indigo Run community.

Sharp knives make for a happier, more joyful, kitchen experience. And dull edges are dangerous, - you have to work too hard to cut, and may slip - ouch! So, we want you to have happy, sharper edges.
What items are sharpened:
Knives, scissors (both household/industrial and stylist/groomers shears), and garden implements. (clippers, loppers, etc.)
Pricing:
Pricing is variable as Tom will need to view the items. Please come prepared to prepay so Tom can leave your items at Security if you can't return before he leaves for the day.
Kitchen knives tend to average about $15 each, though it varies with length, condition of edge, broken points, etc.
Garden clippers generally $10, loppers likely $20, again all dependent upon condition of edge, length, etc.
Household scissors approx. $15
stylist/grooming shears (need to take home to sharpen and will return) $35.
Bring your items and he will assess them.
Tom's background information:
Tom has been hand sharpening his own, and family/friend's, knives since he was 13 years old. He was really quite good at it, until he advanced to a nifty belt sharpening system. He has been doing Farmers Markets locally since last summer and getting great results, and many repeat customers.
Some of you may have encountered him at Hilton Head Farmers Market on Tuesdays (Honey Horn), Bluffton Farmers Market on Thursdays, or Port Royal on Saturdays.
